Groningen: The World’s Cycling City
“The Atom” a small gadget adding to your bicycle to power any of your electronic devices via USB under 100 $. For a longer bike tour a must have. But the name? I don´t get it.
I took this picture this morning when I was on my way to work. Riding my way in the sunshine, somewhere in Prenzlauer Berg a tram passed by. Through it’s steamy windows I could hardly look inside – but when I realized this train was massively overcrowded, I had a big smile in my face…
Riding in city traffic is often scary and not comfortable unless you have eyes in the back of your head. That tool gives you the opportunity to look back without turning you hear all the time. I´ m not sure if someone would like to have vibrating handle bars. Thank you Jun GyeJin (designer) http://www.yankodesign.com/2014/01/14/third-eye-for-cyclists/
A great concept to relieve environment and spendings! The vision is 4 years old and has never seen any market. We ask: Why? http://www.lunar.com/better-mo-bility-for-urbanites/ http://www.mo-bility.com/mo/home_.html
More than 50% of the Germans ride their bicycles the incredible amount of 2600 km per year whereas 22% of the rest blame the lack of cycle lanes for not riding at all! source: market research institution: Research Now
